One of the best things about this business is making people happy and one of the best ways to keep people happy is to keep things fresh. As 2022 turns to 2023 we have been cooking up ways to keep it new and interesting in the new year. 

Trying out novel flavor combinations can be one way to make changes happen to our candy collections. We like to take unexpected flavors, combine them and give it a whirl! Did you ever make your own flavor mixes at the soda fountain, like mixing Sprite with Fanta or Lemonade with Mountain Dew? It’s kind of like that but on a bigger scale with huge machinery. These days you can find lots of different flavors available through flavor distributors. Some of the most popular candy flavorings are some you would expect to see:

But we’ve dug around to find some of the flavors that might be a surprise! They might be odd but there must be a reason for their manufacture - as they say “don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it!” People like the wild and fantastical as it keeps the spice of life exciting. Some of these are completely hilarious, read on to see the more out-of-the-ordinary candy flavorings and types of candy we have found:

What do you think? Would you try a Vegemite Chocolate Bar or Kale flavored hard candy? Ever found yourself in line at an ice cream stand and as you’re reading down the list of flavors this happens: “Chocolate, Vanilla, M&M, Cheetos Flamin' Hot, Mint Chip…wait huh?!” Surprise and variation makes things exciting and new and we’re here for it! 

A few oddballs we have tried over the years include: cherry cheesecake, caliente   fudge, vanilla supreme, fireball, and chocolate orange. You could say that some of the flavors we have tried over the years have been more popular than others but it never hurts to try something new. We like to mix it up a bit here in Provincetown, Massachusetts so if there is a flavor you like or a combination you would like to see please let us know and maybe we’ll give it a go.
